Hernandez Hits in 20 Straight Games

Oscar Hernandez has been on a tear for several weeks, and his hitting streak just keeps getting longer. The 23-year-old Pittsburgh Yinzers second baseman extended his streak to 20 games, going 1-for-4 as Pittsburgh got the best of the Los Angeles Kings at Sportsman's Park, 3-2.
"Oscar has been playing real well lately and we're proud of him," Yinzers manager GM Koty said. Oscar Hernandez singled in the 1st, flied out in the 2nd, flied out in the 4th and grounded out in the 7th.
For the season, Hernandez is hitting at a .393 clip with 5 home runs, 9 RBIs and has scored 15 runs. He has 35 hits, 2 walks and a .409 on-base percentage.
