Farrell Torches Chicks for 5 Hits Thursday, June 27th , 2047 5 hits in a game is a rare thing, but Lansing's Tyler Farrell made it happen against the Chicks. Everything came together at the plate for the 26-year-old center fielder as he collected 5 hits in 5 at-bats -- and helped the Red Storm triumph, 16-8, at Russwood Park. "I'm just out there to try and help the team win," Farrell said after the game, "I had some real good at-bats. I made good, solid contact and luckily no one caught 'em." Tyler Farrell doubled in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Billy Roland in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, doubled in the 7th, singled in the 8th and walked in the 9th.
