Gordam Crafts 5-0 Shutout Thursday, September 26th , 2041 Karl Gordam kept the opposition off the scoreboard and the Dublin Porters were all smiles after winning 5-0 against the Kyiv Cossacks at Kyiv Grounds today. The left-handed Gordam gave up no runs in his start, permitted 1 hit and had 18 strikeouts. "If there was a stat for 'team shutout,' this would be it," Gordam said later. "My catcher called a great game, guys delivered at the plate and when I messed something up the guys behind me were where they needed to be."
