Koonts 5-for-6 for Buffalo Friday, October 11th , 2041 It was a hits blitz for Nick Koonts at Brooklyn Coliseum today. The Buffalo Buffalo right fielder tore into the Brooklyn Knights for 5 hits in 6 at-bats, but it wasn't enough to win the game. The Knights swept past the Buffalo 1-0 to ruin Koonts's day. "We weren't locating our pitches well," Buffalo manager Jim Punk42ae explained after the game. "Once you get behind in the count, you have to make really good pitches, rather than pretty good pitches, and we weren't able to do that today. Getting 5 hits from Nick was nice but it wasn't enough." Nick Koonts doubled in the 1st, singled in the 4th, singled in the 7th, struck out in the 9th, singled in the 11th and singled in the 14th.
