Detroit, Brooklyn Deal Made Monday, June 21st , 2049 In an effort to add some depth to its roster, the Detroit Pizzas have swapped 22-year old minor league C Rafael Barrios, 19-year old minor league LF Ed Fischer, and 20-year old minor league RHP Eric White to the Brooklyn Knights for 32-year old LHP Sam Mooney. The Pizzas GM told reporters, "We saw a chance to upgrade our ball club and took it." Brooklyn will retain a portion of Mooney's remaining contract. This season, Mooney has 4 wins and 3 losses and a 4.09 ERA. |
