Season Over for Dan Ellerbee in St. Louis Tuesday, September 13th , 2044 Dan Ellerbee of the Archies just might have to call it quits for the season. The 34-year-old St. Louis reliever received a possible season-ending injury against the East Haddam Hyenas recently at Team2 Ballpark. Ellerbee suffered a ruptured ulnar collateral ligament while throwing a pitch. The Archies medical staff said he could be out quite some time, as much as 14 months. For the season, Ellerbee is 1-and-1 with no saves and a 6.30 ERA. He has given up 28 hits in 20 innings with 26 strikeouts. |
