Webster AL Outstanding Batter of the Month Thursday, July 1st , 2049 Mike Webster, the Portland designated hitter, certainly made a name for himself this past month. He banged out a .356 batting average with 36 hits, 8 home runs, 23 RBIs and scored 20 times. That kind of hitting earned him the Alliance League Batter of the Month honors for June. For the season, Webster is currently batting .294 with 17 home runs and 51 RBIs. In 78 games he has reached base at a .366 rate and scored 50 runs to date. |
