Kyiv SP Valer Will Miss 8-9 Months Friday, July 21st , 2051 A blow for Juan Valer today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 8-9 months with a torn rotator cuff. Valer suffered the injury throwing a pitch. Although officials from the Kyiv Cossacks are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Valer's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature. So far this season, Valer has compiled a 6-6 record with a 5.20 ERA. |
