It's Official: Perea Will Retire Sunday, September 6th , 2048 Alberto Perea announced his retirement today according to sources inside the Hanoi Dragon Warriors organization. Perea, who is 37 years old, gave reporters some of his plans for the near future. "I'm going to do a lot of hunting and fishing," he said. "I've always been focused on getting ready for the next season, so maybe now I can slow down and enjoy time away from it all." Perea went back and forth with the press in a friendly manner during his press conference. "I'm sure there's a small-mouth bass out there with my name on it," he said. To date Perea has posted a career 27-45 record with 133 saves. The 37-year-old has rung up 618 strikeouts, has a 3.27 ERA and has allowed teams to hit .247 against him. |
