Dixon Ends Speculation, Will Retire Friday, October 9th , 2048 After what he called a "long and rewarding" career in professional baseball, Eric Dixon has announced he will retire. The Dublin Porters left fielder said it wasn't an easy decision to make, but this season will be his last and he's now "content" with his choice to walk away at age 38. To date Dixon has a .257 career batting average and has totaled 558 home runs. |
