Deere Hit Streak Soars to 20 Games

Josh Deere's hitting streak is becoming the talk of Brooklyn. The 30-year-old designated hitter extended it once again, this time bringing it to 20 games with a 1-for-4 performance against the Hanoi Dragon Warriors. The Knights won the game, 9-7.

"People are starting to bring it up to me when I'm around town," he said. "It's getting stressful."
Josh Deere struck out in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, struck out in the 5th and hit a three-run home run off Dan Bass in the 7th.

For the season, Deere is hitting .299, batted in 85 runs with 28 home runs and 60 runs scored.
