Jacksonville Halts Tyler's Hitting Steak Wednesday, August 21st , 2052 Khalil Tyler of the Long Beach Paradise came up empty at the plate and went hitless in 1 at-bat for the first time in 20 games. Making matters even worse for the left fielder, Long Beach dropped the game to the Jacksonville Alligators, 8-6. "It was not a good day today," Tyler told the press in postgame comments. "We lost the game and the streak is over." So far on the season, Tyler is hitting .434 with no home runs, 15 RBIs and 23 runs scored. He has 46 hits and played in 27 games. |
