Red-Hot Brown Scorches Nómadas del Sol Tuesday, May 12th , 2048 Jody Brown was at the head of a Cork hit parade at Claws Ballpark. The second baseman went to the plate 6 times and came away with 6 hits, sparking the Claws to a nice 13-12 victory over the Nogales Nómadas del Sol. "I told the guys in the dugout, just be thinking about hitting the ball hard somewhere," the sweet-swinging Brown told reporters after the game. "Seems like it worked out well for us today." Nómadas del Sol skipper Aaron Robinson said later that the club gave up "too much plate." "Not the way we planned it," he said. "Every hitter in the league will rip you when you do that."
