Galveston-Cork Fight Results in Suspensions Thursday, May 14th , 2048 After an intense confrontation, both the Gumdrops Gauthier Charno and the Claws Travis Ellis were handed their punishments today. The league commissioner's office issued suspensions for an on-the-field conflict that occurred at a recent Galveston-Cork game. Gauthier Charno will miss 3 games, while Travis Ellis was suspended for 6 games. "Sometimes we go too far and have to pay the consequences," Gauthier Charno commented later. "Hopefully cooler heads will prevail the next time we play." Charno is batting .319 with 2 home runs and 13 RBIs this season. |
