Campos Slams 5 Hits for Oklahoma City Thursday, May 14th , 2048 Oklahoma City Hooks catcher Bill Campos had a day to remember at Hooks Ballpark, ripping apart the Euharlee Hammerheads and sparking the 19-3 Hooks win. Campos wrote his name in the record books with a 5-hit barrage, finishing his special day 5-for-6. "I'm usually a first ball hitter," Campos told BNN reporters in the postgame press conference. "I think pitchers think batters are going to let the first one go by. I never do. I've always found that it's better to pull the trigger early in the count. Pitchers get real nasty when they get ahead of you, so I try to avoid it." Bill Campos singled in the 1st, walked in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI double in the 7th, singled in the 7th and struck out in the 8th.
