Dar'in Shines in 6-0 Gem Monday, May 6th , 2047 Fedya Dar'in of the Cork Claws was on top of his game. The 38-year-old tantalized the Corpus Christi Beach Boys with crisp curves and changeups, mixed in with just enough fastballs to keep the batters honest, shutting them out, 6-0. "He had the changeup working," Corpus Christi manager Kirk Brixey said in postgame comments. "You knew it was coming and you still grounded out -- and then he threw it even slower." The Cork hurler had 14 strikeouts, gave up no walks and surrendered 7 hits in his complete-game effort.
