Paravicini, Amaya Suspended for Fracas Wednesday, June 19th , 2041 Baseball officials have suspended two players for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct" in yesterday's Cork-Long Island contest at Claws Ballpark. The Claws Andino Paravicini and the Ducks Ivan Amaya will have to sit out 3 and 7 games respectively for their parts in the brawl. For the season, Paravicini is hitting at a .200 clip with no home runs, 1 RBIs and has scored 2 runs. He has 1 hit, no walks and a .333 on-base percentage. For the year Amaya has collected 1 save in 7 relief appearances. He has also notched 16 strikeouts and 6 walks in 17 innings while registering a 5.29 ERA and a 0-0 won-lost record. |
