Peterson Bashes 5 Base Hits Sunday, August 18th , 2041 All game long, Vermont's Jonathan Peterson was rattling the walls at Alligators Stadium and banging out base hits against the Jacksonville Alligators. When the dust finally settled on the diamond, he had a 5-hit day and the Expos had a 19-3 victory. Speaking with reporters after his standout performance, the 21-year-old starting pitcher said, "Get 5 hits, win a ballgame, it's nice. I could get used to this." Jonathan Peterson hit an RBI single in the 2nd, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 5th, singled in the 8th and flied out in the 9th.
