Joe Gorman Injured, Out for Season Tuesday, August 27th , 2041 A blow for Joe Gorman today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 12 months with a torn ulnar collateral ligament. Gorman suffered the injury throwing a pitch. Although officials from the Vermont Expos are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Gorman's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature. In 14 starts this season Gorman has registered a 5-2 record and a 2.78 ERA. |
