Stahl Sensational, 5-for-6 Monday, June 14th , 2049 Kaiden Stahl exploded for a barrage of base hits at Ducks Ballpark. The Colorado Springs shortstop had a field day in his team's 17-8 triumph over the Long Island Ducks, finishing 5-for-6. "My hitting philosophy is simple," he said. "I focus on just seeing the ball and I try to get a good pitch." Stahl must have focused at least 5 times and apparently got some good pitches, too, leading to one of his best days ever with the bat. Kaiden Stahl singled in the 2nd, struck out in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 8th and hit a two-run home run off Tetsuya Miyoshi in the 9th. During the current season Stahl is batting at a .400 clip with 1 home run and 5 RBIs. He has played in 18 games and scored 5 times. View Boxscore |
