Hit Streak Now at 20 for Morel Monday, July 4th , 2050 Pablo Morel ran his hitting streak to 20 straight games at Sea Eagles Ballpark, when he collected 1 hit in 4 at-bats. The feat came, however, as the Sheboygan Bratwurst dropped the game, 5-4, to the Sapporo Sea Eagles. "Hey, the streak is great -- I hope it never ends," Morel said later. "But I'm not happy to lose the game." Pablo Morel flied out in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th, grounded out in the 6th and doubled in the 9th. Thus far this year, Morel has hit .362 with 8 home runs and 55 RBIs. |
