Consecutive-Game Hit Streak Continues for Dotel Monday, June 28th , 2049 The hitting streak for Jacksonville first baseman Victor Dotel now stands at 25 games, but the Alligators dropped today's contest 4-3 to the Buffalo Red Sox. Dotel went 1-for-3 in the game. "Things went well for me personally," he said. "I got 1 hit and the streak keeps going. But we didn't win the game." Victor Dotel singled in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, walked in the 5th and flied out in the 7th. This season, Dotel has posted a batting average of .348 with 70 hits in 201 at-bats, 3 home runs and 38 RBIs. He has also scored 28 runs, walked 25 times and compiled a .425 OBP. |
