Ruckus Reaps 4-Game Suspensions Saturday, July 3rd , 2049 There was a heated confrontation yesterday at Alligators Stadium between the Claws and Alligators that resulted in ejections and suspensions. Nicolas van Emmerik of Cork and Bill Horner of Jacksonville were issued 4-game suspensions by the league office for initiating the on-field disturbance. So far this year, van Emmerik is batting .439 with 4 home runs. This season, Horner has made 16 relief appearances with 5 saves. In 22.2 innings he has fanned 18 hitters and recorded no wins and 2 losses with a 3.18 ERA. |
