Karavaiko Hits in 20 Straight Games Wednesday, August 9th , 2051 Seriozha Karavaiko has been ripping hits every day for a while now, and nobody seems able to stop him. The Nogales second baseman picked up 3 more today against the Can Tho Cobras and now has a 20-game hitting streak. The Nómadas del Sol won the game, 17-3. "Definitely somebody's going to stop me at some point," he said later, chuckling. "I'll enjoy it for the time being." Seriozha Karavaiko walked in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, walked in the 7th, struck out in the 8th and grounded out in the 9th.
