Lipscomb Boosts Hit Streak to 20 Games Wednesday, August 9th , 2051 Jon Lipscomb of the Sapporo Sea Eagles has now hit safely in 20 straight games. He socked 3 hits in today's 13-2 triumph over California at Kooks Ballpark. "20 games is a big chunk of the year, isn't it?" Lipscomb said to reporters. "It's hard to wrap your head around." Jon Lipscomb walked in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, hit a two-run double in the 5th, singled in the 7th and flied out in the 8th. Currently Lipscomb is hitting .510 and has collected 7 home runs, 31 RBIs and scored 46 times, while playing in 23 games. |
