Espiniosa on Fire, 5-for-6 Against California Thursday, August 10th , 2051 Sapporo catcher Edwin Espiniosa had a big day at Kooks Ballpark against the California Kooks. The 20-year-old, who is not typically considered a big threat with the bat, went 5-for-6 and led to the 23-6 Sea Eagles triumph over California. "Hey, I'm as surprised as you guys are," Espiniosa said in his postgame comments, smiling as he scolded the press corps for underestimating him. "Maybe I'm not so bad at the plate after all."
