Reyes Smacks 6 Hits for Alligators Friday, August 11th , 2051 Jacksonville second baseman Lorenzo Reyes could do no wrong in his team's 18-1 win over the Better Mades, as he collected 6 hits. "Things were in his favor in every one of his at-bats," Better Mades skipper Gary McGraw said to the press corps after the game. "He got hitters' counts." Reyes agreed, saying that getting ahead early in the counts was "the key" to his game. "Once you get ahead, it makes it a lot easier because you get a better pitch to hit," he said. "You know the pitcher has to come in with it. And you're ready." Lorenzo Reyes singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Jason Fast in the 5th, walked in the 6th, singled in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 8th.
