Hit Parade: Maldonado Pops 5 Hits Friday, July 22nd , 2050 It was nearly a perfect day for Alex Maldonado at Hooks Ballpark. Although the Colorado Springs Generals third baseman was sensational at the plate, collecting 5 base hits in 6 at-bats, it just wasn't enough to keep the Generals from falling to the Oklahoma City Hooks. Oklahoma City spoiled his great day at the plate by winning the game, 12-8.
