CR's Best Batter Selected Monday, August 1st , 2050 At only 22 years of age, Dan Henderson could very well have many more months like this last one during his career. That would be great news for fans of the Galveston Gumdrops, as July was one to remember for the center fielder and he has captured the CBD Rookie League Batter of the Month award. On the month he hit .398 with 12 home runs, 51 RBIs and 40 runs scored. A look at his current stats shows Henderson with a .381 average, 12 home runs, 51 RBIs and 42 runs scored. He has played in 28 games. |
