Lipscomb Sizzles with 25-Game Batting Streak Wednesday, August 16th , 2051 Sea Eagles catcher Jon Lipscomb has extended his hitting streak to 25 games. He went 2-for-4 in today's game against the Grosse Pointe Better Mades. Sapporo won the ballgame, 8-3. "Got a hit and a win," he said later. "OK, I'll take it." Jon Lipscomb singled in the 1st, grounded out in the 2nd, walked in the 5th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Daniel Michel in the 6th and flied out in the 8th. Lipscomb is hitting .504 this season with 8 home runs, 39 RBIs and 56 runs scored. He has 62 hits in 123 at-bats. |
