Royal Oak's Gorbachev to Miss 4-5 Months Tuesday, August 27th , 2052 Pavlushka Gorbachev has to call it a season. The Royal Oak Faygo Pops starting pitcher sustained a season-ending injury against the Spokane Bulldogs and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Gorbachev was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as a torn labrum and stated that he would not be able to play for 4-5 months. This season, Gorbachev has registered 1 win and 6 losses in 9 starts with a 5.26 ERA. |
