Faygo Pops Hurler Named August's #1 Starter Sunday, September 1st , 2052 The Sub League 1 scribes have announced August's Pitcher of the Month and have given the award to Ivan Villalobos of Royal Oak. He was one tough cookie on the mound last month with a fine 4-0 mark to prove it. The Royal Oak star made 6 starts with a 1.99 ERA and surrendered 24 hits in 31.2 innings. He struck out 28 and walked 9. So far this season, Villalobos has logged a 9-6 record with a 2.37 ERA. He has started 25 games, hurled 136.2 innings and registered 126 strikeouts and 43 walks. |
