Hepcats Heading to League Championship Series Saturday, September 21st , 2052 The Kansas City Hepcats have advanced to the League Championship Series, with a 4-0 triumph at Royal Oak Field over the Royal Oak Faygo Pops. The win sealed a 3-1 series win for Kansas City. The series MVP honor went to Hepcats second baseman Alberto Padilla. "It takes every guy in that dugout to win games, not just me," Padilla said afterward. "I'm proud to be moving on." The Kansas City Hepcats don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Portland Mavericks - Cloverleaf Imperials series. That series is tied at 2 games apiece.
