Calgary Wins League Championship Series Monday, September 30th , 2052 The Calgary Winter will continue their playoff march, after a 4-1 League Championship Series victory over the Jefferson J-Hawks. The series wrapped up at Winter Grounds with a 9-4 win, propelling Calgary to the World Series. Series MVP Nick Ashby called it a "total team effort" by his club. The Calgary Winter will play against the Cloverleaf Imperials in the next round. Cloverleaf won their series against the Kansas City Hepcats 4 games to 1.
