Best SL2 Reliever Named Friday, October 18th , 2052 Mike McNamara was a calming influence out of the Richfield Outlaws bullpen this season. His teammates and manager said he had a poised demeanor about him that was typical of someone much older and more experienced. His poise has paid off, as the 20-year-old turned in a sparkling season and has been named the winner of the Sub League 2 Reliever of the Year Award for 2052. The Earlimart, California native won the award with 16 saves in 44 relief appearances, 47 strikeouts in 55.1 innings and a record of 5-4 to go with his 1.79 ERA. He received 9 first place votes out of a possible 16. Isaiah Wright of the Laredo Diamonds finished second in voting with 6 first place votes, while Bobby Bienenstock of the Jefferson J-Hawks finished third with 1 first place vote.
