Umana Captures SL1 Batter of Month Award Saturday, July 1st , 2051 Even though he is a newcomer to CBD Single A, Elias Umana put up some good numbers in June and earned the SL1 Batter of the Month award. He was one of Wichita's offensive leaders with a .386 average in 24 games. He also racked up 10 home runs, 26 RBIs, and 18 runs scored. During the current season Umana is batting at a .359 clip with 20 home runs and 57 RBIs. He has played in 58 games and scored 41 times. |
