Despite the rain, the fans at Takoyaki Park enjoyed a good ballgame.
Osaka got a strong outing from Vicente Tejeda as the Takoyaki defeated the Buffalo Buffalo, 4-2, at Takoyaki Park. Eric Beasley picked up the save for Osaka, his 5th of the year.
Had Sam Clark not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 2nd and 3rd, Clark hit a 2-run single. That made the score 4-2, in favor of the Takoyaki.
"Vicente is tough to beat when he's hitting his spots," said Osaka manager GM KDR.
Osaka, now 10-5, has gotten their season off to a good start.
