Desert Storm Prevail, 6-4, Over Dublin
|
Arizona left fielder Ben Potgeter had a 3-RBI performance, which helped his team down the Dublin Porters, 6-4. Terry Donohue recorded the save for Arizona, his 21st of the season. The losing streak for Dublin has now reached 5 games.
The Desert Storm got a big at-bat from shortstop Joe Gainey. For the game, Gainey went 2 for 3 with 2 doubles and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the fourth, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 15th double of the season gave Arizona a 5-4 lead.
"I'm just looking to see the ball, hit the ball," said Gainey.
