The timely hitting of Jose Caravaggio helped the Detroit Pizzas down the Arizona Desert Storm, 10-6. Caravaggio belted 3 home runs, while scoring 4 times and driving in 5 for the Pizzas. The Alliance League Boneheads Division-leading Pizzas are 73-46.

In the top of the first, Caravaggio had a run-scoring double for Detroit. It was his 22nd double of the season and put the Pizzas on top, 1-0.
