The Aztecs got a fine performance from second baseman Victor Rodriquez, who was 4-5 with a home run and 3 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. Tim Ocampo recorded the save, making him 26 for 31. The first-place Aztecs have a one-game lead in their division.
The most important at-bat for San Antonio came in the top of the tenth inning, when first baseman Brian Cifelli stroked a 0-1 curveball to center for a run-scoring single, putting San Antonio up, 5-4.
