Beavers Reel Off Another Win
The Portland Beavers got a stellar effort from pitcher Ray Barber, helping Portland score a win over the visiting Havana Sugar Kings, 5-1. The winner was Barber. He threw 7.0 innings of 6-hit ball. The loser was Zack Alvarez. Andy Buhrke recorded the save for Portland, his 29th of the season.
