AL Reliever of the Year Award Winner Named Wednesday, December 8th , 2049 The Hanoi Dragon Warriors got more than they expected out of Noah Powell in 2049. At the age of 36, there were questions about whether or not Powell could still compete at a high level, but those questions were answered emphatically as he has won the Alliance League Reliever of the Year Award. On the season, the Miramar, Florida native recorded 48 saves in 65 relief appearances and threw 75.1 innings. He recorded 92 strikeouts and 13 walks, while posting an opponent's batting average of .179. Jorge Figueroa of the Detroit Pizzas finished second in voting, while Kurat Feyzioglu of the Havana Sugar Kings finished third. |
