Almanza's Strong Week Earns CAA Trophy Monday, May 4th , 2048 Like a machine, Pedro Almanza hit the baseball with brutal efficiency last week, gaining himself the CBD Double A Player of the Week title for that stretch. The Walkerton Scarlet Knights shortstop rapped out a .560 average with 14 hits in 25 at-bats, 2 home runs, 5 RBI and 3 runs scored. Almanza is hitting .378 so far this season with 11 RBIs and 11 runs scored. He has 34 hits including 4 home runs, 6 walks and .423 OBP. |
