CAA Player of the Week, Olson of Key West Monday, May 20th , 2047 The hottest bat of the week belonged to Key West right fielder Billy Olson. He went on a rampage last week against CAA hurlers and rapped out 11 hits in 27 at-bats for a .407 average while hitting 1 home run, driving in 6 runs and scoring 6 runs -- numbers quite worthy of the CBD Double A Player of the Week trophy. Olson was honored today at a press conference. This season, Olson is hitting .450 with 18 hits, 2 home runs, 9 RBIs, scored 10 runs and played in 9 games. |
