Hernandez Hurls Vanguard to 5-0 Shutout Win Saturday, August 3rd , 2041 Mario Hernandez scattered 6 hits over 9 innings, going the distance in the 5-0 Santa Clara Vanguard victory over the Chesterfield Queens at Queens Ballpark. The 26-year-old Hernandez whiffed 12 and allowed no walks in the game. "Not perfect today, but I'll definitely take it," Hernandez said later.
