Glendale Punchless in 8-0 Loss to Vipers Thursday, June 20th , 2047 The Glendale Skeeters ran into a buzzsaw at Skeeters Ballpark, as Vung Tau Vipers starter Steve Runk cut them down to size, 8-0, tossing a 3-hit shutout. "That's one thing that has never changed in this game -- pitching can control hitting," Vipers manager Mark Jory told reporters after the game. "Steve knows exactly what he's doing.
