Playoff Bound: Walkerton Secures Wild Card Saturday, August 31st , 2041 The Walkerton Scarlet Knights say they are ready for the challenge that lies ahead. The challenge is to capture a Round 3 title as a wild card team. "The Division 2 is a strong division and we still feel good about our chances even though we didn't win it," said starting pitcher Mike Whitten. "It's going to be a tougher road to a title, but it's one we're ready to embark on." The team has a 73-63 record and is seeking its 1st CBD Double A championship. |
