This Week's Star Player is Williams Monday, May 10th , 2049 Omaha fans have something to crow about today as Omaha center fielder Paul Williams nabbed the CBD Double A Player of the Week Award for his performance over the last seven days. "I know there are times when it's hard to lay off pitches. Everyone goes through stretches when he's too eager to put the ball in play. You know, though, I feel like this past week I was able to get in the right frame of mind and just let things come naturally," said Williams. He posted a .526 average (10-for-19) this past week with 2 home runs, 8 RBIs, and 4 runs scored. A look at his season totals shows Williams with 3 home runs, .388 BA, .475 OBP, 15 RBIs and 16 runs scored. |
