League Gives Hurtado and Markee 5-Game Suspensions Monday, July 23rd , 2046 Today the league office handed out 5-game suspensions to Carlos Hurtado of the Armadillos and Tom Markee of the Jaspers for their roles in a benches-clearing skirmish at Amarillo Grounds yesterday. The league commissioner said in the statement to both organizations, "This league does not condone fighting and aggressive conduct on the field, thus we had to take action to discourage this behavior in the future."
