Castillo Crushes 3 HR Against Key West Sunday, June 19th , 2050 Every now and then, everything just comes together. Bob Castillo discovered that today at Lime Pies Ballpark, as he smashed three home runs during the 6-0 Tucson Ocelot win over the Key West Lime Pies. "I got three balls to hit and nailed all three of them," the Tucson first baseman said in his postgame interview. "The first was a hanging curve, the second was right down the middle and the last one was a good pitch, but I guessed right and put the wood to it." Castillo, who is tied for 8th in the CAA in home runs with 11, finished the day with 3 hits in 5 at-bats and 6 RBIs. Bob Castillo grounded out in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Kevin Valenzuela in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th, hit a three-run home run off Luis Salmeron in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off Luis Salmeron in the 8th. Looking at his season stats, Castillo has compiled a .305 batting average and a .391 on-base percentage, while hitting 11 home runs and driving in 19 runs. |
